ESA is led by its principal, Erich Seamon – who has over 20 years of experience with data systems, geographic information, and decision-making. Mr. Seamon has an M.S. in the geological sciences with a focus on GIS, and provides expert witness testimony in the area of GIS.
More recently, Mr. Seamon was an expert witness and consultant in Willits et al vs. City and County of Los Angeles, a class-action lawsuit that involved assembling geographically-oriented curb ramps from multiple governmental agencies, and mining that data to assess curb ramp conditions. In 2016, this case was settled for $1.4B US dollars – which is the largest class action disability lawsuit is US history.
